Come On In: MfC Calls Out For New Directors

Moving for Change (MfC) has launched a drive to recruit new Directors to its Board, and is encouraging  applications from members of the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities.

The role, which involves working in a team with the other Directors to oversee the overall direction of Moving for Change, is unpaid although out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed.

Having been active for three years, MfC is now seeking interest in particular from members of the communities over the age of 18 with lived experience of living either roadside or in insecure accommodation.

Previous experience as a Director is not essential, as induction and support will be provided for successful candidates.

A Recruitment Pack, outlining the duties of the Directors and including an Expression of Interest form, has been published and can be found by clicking the blue button below.

If you want to help shape the future direction of Moving for Change, but want an informal chat about the role, contact MfC Chair, Violet Cannon, by emailing [email protected].
