Funding 101 – First Funding Webinar Now Online

The first of four webinars aimed at helping guide both individual Gypsy, Roma and Traveller activists and community groups through the jungle of funding is now available to all online via YouTube.

Hosted by Lucy Stone of the No Stone Unturned fundraising consultancy, Fundraising 101 and addressed the questions:

  • What are the different fundraising options open to you?
  • How do you know which options are right for your organisation?
  • What practical first steps can you take to diversify your income?
  • How can you support everyone in the organisation to help with fundraising?

Organised by Josie O’Driscoll at GATEHerts, the webinar was attended by ten individuals from across the country and was followed by a question and answer session. The main presentation is now available on YouTube and can be seen below, while the slides used by Lucy to illustrate her webinar are clickable as both PDFs and as a Powerpoint slideshow. As the weeks go by, these webinars will be posted as individual news items and then compiled after the fourth one onto a singular webpage available under the “Resources” heading.
